Apathia¶
Apathia is a crypto trading bot you run on your own computer or server. You build strategies from technical indicators, test them on past prices (backtests), get alerts when they fire (signals), and let them trade with play money (paper trading). Your exchange API keys stay on your machine.

Trading crypto is risky: you can lose some or all of the money you trade with, and with leverage more than you put into a position. Nothing in Apathia or in these docs is financial advice. Backtests and past results don't predict future ones. Start with paper trading, use amounts you can afford to lose, and check every setting before you trade for real.

- Getting started: install Apathia, sign in, and run your first strategy on paper.
- Indicators: what each indicator shows and what its settings do.
What it can do today¶
- Strategies: entry and exit rules built from indicators, or ready-made ones from the Strategy Library.
- Backtests: run a strategy on past candles and see its trades, fees and results.
- Signals: alerts to Telegram, Discord, email or a webhook when a strategy's entry or exit fires.
- Paper trading: the bot runs your strategy with play money on spot pairs, around the clock.
Live trading with real money isn't available yet.
